The cardiovascular disease (CVD) evaluator is a web-based expert system with a patented
methodology. It interfaces an individual patient profile with literature. It uses
CV disease risk scoring systems, guidelines, and clinical trials data. Once an individual
data point (clinical, lipid profile, if available emerging risk factors) is entered,
the system makes specific diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations. The references
are cited and linked to the journal article.
